Do I need an account?
No. The current version works without an account and does not provide cloud sync.
Where are my records stored?
Your protein logs, daily goal, and settings stay on this device. Removing the app, clearing its data, or losing the device may permanently delete those records.
How do I install the APK?
After downloading from this site, Android may ask you to let your browser or file manager install unknown apps. You can turn that permission off again after installation. Do not install ProteinFirst packages from unverified third parties.
How can I verify the download?
The download section shows the APK's SHA-256. Use your operating system or a trusted tool to calculate the local file hash and compare it character by character. The file size and SHA-256 appear automatically after a release is uploaded.
Why does a protein value differ from the package label?
Values vary with brand, portion, preparation, and data source. A package label is a better source for that exact product, and you can add or edit a custom food.
Can ProteinFirst set a medical or nutrition goal for me?
No. ProteinFirst is for personal tracking and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or personalized nutrition advice. Ask a physician or qualified professional if you have questions about your goal or health.
